Q Your instructions for peer review include reading your partner's entire essay and identifying the four elements of paragraph development outlined in the AXES METHOD handout: • You have a "key" for them to follow so they know how you are identifying each element. Your key is as follows: "yellow" is assertion "green" is example, "pink" is explanation and "blue'" is significance. • You will do this for their entire essay. Be sure to save your changes and return your partner's essay to them with the elements identified throughout their piece. • You can also identify their "thesis statement" in the introductory paragraph.
